BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING

NOTICE OF ANNUAL BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING
Town of Lakeside — Douglas County, Wisconsin
The Town of Lakeside Board will meet on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Town Hall.
The purpose of this meeting is to begin preparation of the proposed Town Budget for calendar year 2027.

The Board reserves the right to discuss and take action on matters concerning the preparation of the proposed budget, including anticipated revenues, expenditures, employee compensation, and the proposed town tax levy.

The Board may establish dates for additional budget workshop meetings and discuss scheduling the annual public budget hearing, special town meeting of electors, and special Town Board meeting.
Additional budget workshop meetings will be separately noticed in accordance with Wisconsin’s Open Meetings Law.
Possible Closed Session

The Board may convene in closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes § 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment compensation matters of public employees over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, specifically employee wages and benefits.

The Board may reconvene in open session following the closed session to take any necessary action.
